Bhuwanishankar Campus (Formerly Bhuwanishankar Multiple College) was established in the year 2059 B.S. Later, in 2062 B.S. it took affiliation from Tribhuwan University and started Bachelor level. Similarly, in 2071 B.S it took affiliation for MBS program. The college has been awarded with Quality Assurance & Accreditation (QAA) certification on the recommendation of Educational Quality, Assurance & Accreditation Council of the University Grants Commission Nepal on 26th June 2022 ( 12th Ashadh 2079). Bhuwani Shankar Niraula, a local guardian donated nearly 28 lakh rupees for college and has been named after him as Bhuwani Shankar Campus. Bhuwani Shankar Campus was established with purpose of imparting quality and practical education to the minority group and weaker sections of this area.
At present, Bhuwani Shankar Campus is a constituent campus of Bagmati University, following the agreement concluded on 26 Mangsir 2082 B.S. (2082-08-26). In its current phase of development, the campus is offering a range of contemporary and professionally oriented academic programs, including Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), Bachelor of Arts in Bachelor of Laws (BALLB), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), along with various vocational and skill-oriented courses.
The campus is committed to providing accessible, quality, practical, and career-oriented education while responding to the changing needs of students, the local community, and the broader society. With its transition as a constituent campus of Bagmati University, Bhuwani Shankar Campus aims to further strengthen its academic programs, institutional capacity, practical learning opportunities, and contribution to the educational development of the region.
